Sports are serious business in the Philippines. Basketball discussions dominate group chats. Boxing cards bring families together around the TV. Football fandom has grown steadily with local club leagues and the Azkals gaining national attention. Esports is one of the fastest-growing spectator categories in the country, with Philippine teams competing internationally in Mobile Legends, Valorant, and DOTA 2.
The 98php Bet section is designed around this reality. The sports and leagues listed are the ones Filipino players actually care about, with basketball and football leading the lineup and boxing, volleyball, and esports filling out the rest. International events like the NBA, UEFA Champions League, and Premier League are also covered for players who follow global competition alongside local leagues.
Everything runs through your single 98php account — the same balance you use for live casino tables and fish games covers your sports bets. No separate accounts, no separate wallets. Deposit once and access every section of the platform.
You can bet on events before they start — comparing odds and placing your selections in advance — or switch to live in-play mode once a match is underway. Live betting at 98php lets you react to what is happening on the court or field in real time, with odds that update continuously as the match progresses.
The 98php Bet section is fully mobile-responsive. Whether you are watching a PBA game in Cebu, following a boxing card from Davao, or checking live NBA scores on your commute in Manila, the betting interface adapts to your phone screen without needing a separate app download. For the app experience, visit the App page.
The 98php Bet section covers the sports and competitions that matter most to Filipino players, from local league action to major international events.

The NBA is also fully covered — regular season, playoffs, and the Finals — with game lines, totals, and player prop options available on major matchups. Whether you back Ginebra or the San Miguel Beermen locally, or follow the Lakers and Warriors internationally, your team's games are in the 98php Bet lobby.

If you are new to online sports betting, the number of available market options can look overwhelming at first. Here is a straightforward breakdown of the bet types you will encounter most often in the 98php Bet section.
The simplest bet available — you pick which team or player wins the match. No handicap, no spread. If your selection wins, your bet pays out at the odds shown at the time you placed the bet.
Popular for basketball and football betting. One team is given a points or goals handicap to level the field between a favourite and an underdog. Asian handicap eliminates the draw result and provides a refund if the result lands exactly on the handicap line.
You bet on whether the total points, goals, or rounds in a match will be over or under a number set by the bookmaker. In basketball, this might be the combined score of both teams. In football, it is usually total goals. You are not picking a winner — just the overall volume of scoring.
You predict the result at half-time and the result at full-time in a single combined bet. Available on football and some basketball markets. Because both legs need to be correct, the odds are higher than a straight match winner bet.
Combine multiple selections across different matches into a single bet. All selections must win for the parlay to pay out. The upside is that the odds from each leg multiply together, producing potentially large returns from a small stake. The downside is that a single losing selection kills the whole bet.
Bets placed while a match is already in progress. Odds shift in real time based on the score, game time, and match situation. Live betting at 98php is available on basketball, football, and other major sports. You can bet on the match winner, next team to score, and other live markets as the action unfolds.
Live betting changes how you engage with a match. Instead of committing your full view before tip-off or kickoff, you can watch how a game develops and bet based on what you are actually seeing rather than what you predicted in advance.
A PBA game where the trailing team starts hitting a run in the third quarter, a boxing match where one fighter is clearly dominating on the scorecards by the fifth round, a football match that goes to the second half still goalless with both teams pressing forward — these are situations where live betting at 98php lets you act on information that was not available when the pre-match odds were set.
Live markets at 98php update continuously. Odds are suspended briefly when major events happen (a goal, a foul, a quarter break) and then refresh. You place bets through the same interface as pre-match — select your market, enter your stake in PHP, and confirm.
On certain live markets at 98php, a cash-out option may be available that lets you settle a bet before the final result for a guaranteed amount. This is useful when you are ahead and want to lock in a return without risking a late reversal, or when a bet is losing and you want to cut your loss smaller than the full stake. Availability depends on the specific match and market.
The path from new player to placing your first bet is straightforward. Here is how it works from account registration to confirmed wager.
Go to the Register page and create your account with a valid Philippine mobile number. Registration is free. Your mobile number is also used for OTP verification when you withdraw, so use a number you actively have access to.
Inside your account, open the cashier and deposit using GCash, Maya, or Philippine bank transfer. Your deposited balance in PHP is shared across the entire 98php platform — live casino, fish games, and the Bet section all draw from the same account balance.
From the main navigation, click Bet. The sportsbook lobby shows upcoming events organised by sport and league, with live matches highlighted separately. Use the sport filters to find the event you want to bet on.
Click or tap an odds button to add that selection to your bet slip. You can add a single selection for a straight bet or add multiple selections to build a parlay. The bet slip shows the potential payout at the current odds before you confirm.
Type in your stake amount in Philippine Peso. The bet slip shows your potential return. Review everything and click confirm to place the bet. Your balance updates immediately and the bet is recorded in your account history.
Check your open and settled bets in your account history. When you want to withdraw, go to the cashier, request a withdrawal to your verified Philippine bank account or e-wallet, and complete OTP verification. KYC verification is required before your first withdrawal.
Every stake, every potential return, every settled payout at 98php is in PHP. No currency conversion calculations, no estimating. What the bet slip shows is the exact peso amount at risk and the exact peso payout if you win.
The 98php Bet section is fully usable on Android and iPhone. The bet slip, odds display, and navigation all scale correctly on phone screens. Download the app from the App page for push notifications on live match updates.
Every Philippine Peso wagered on sports through the 98php Bet section contributes to your VIP tier progress. Cashback and loyalty benefits accumulate across live casino, fish games, and sports betting combined. See the VIP page for tier details.
Your connection to the 98php Bet section is SSL-encrypted. This covers your login, your bet data, and your financial transactions. Account actions like withdrawals require OTP verification to your registered Philippine mobile number for additional security.
